Faye is our advanced nurse practitioner in eating disorders. Faye is truely the best advocate our young people with eating disorders could ever have. She is hard working, diligent, reliable and an excellent colleague. Bringing enthusiasm but also a brilliant sense of humour to the workplace.
She is highly knowledge with a wealth of experience. Which is clearly evident in her approach and management of this very complex patient group. She is a constant and solid bridge between the nursing and medical teams, ensuring good communication and care to our young people.

Conversations surrounding our patients can get very in-depth and complicated. But Faye is excellent at bringing the team back around to hearing the voice of the young person and their experience. Watching her is often a masterclass in communication and interaction.

Faye is a natural leader, her design and delivery of local eating disorder study days is exemplary. She shows Consistent strengths in innovation and leadership with continuous service development and teaching. She has been way ahead of involving experts from experience patients in recruitment, teaching and service design.
Ensuring young people are at the heart of the approach to their care. She has also been instrumental in starting a locally produced parental education and support group in eating disorders and soon ARFID.

She is also a brilliant bridge between mental health and paediatrics. Her organisational skills and management skills are phenomenal!

Plus taking all of the many skills and achievements into account. She is also an amazing nurse. Caring, kind and with excellent attention to detail. Is a leading example of how to treat patients with dignity and respect. Highly compassionate and sensitive. Did I mention her dedication to teaching? She is an all round star. Our CYO are incredibly Lucky to have her, as are we!
