Tanya has always paid a huge part in the care of our oncology patients , her knowledge and understanding of all the patients is admirable , she is always keen to make sure all ward staff are up to date with what is going on with regards treatments and other stuff , she is very empathetic and she is reliable if you ever need to call her she will always be available to answer any questions you may have or are concerned about , she has a vast knowledge on treatments and plans and medication , her kindness to her patients and extended family is wonderful she is hugely admired and respected,she is never afraid to speak up if she feels things are not being done to plan ,she is also a great support to others members of staff and will help and guide them through difficulties, the oncology patient and the parents rely on Tanya a lot and she does not ever let them down , she is a huge asset to the department and we are grateful for her input and care over the last few years
