Stacey is our ENNP, she is a wonderful asset to our SCBU team. Working on the medical rota Stacey provides knowledge, experience and continuity for our tier 1 rota which is so essential and valued by all who work with her (be it F1’s or consultants). When Stacey is not working, the ward definitely does not function so well! Stacey acts as fantastic link between the nursing and medical team, she will always advocate passionately for the babies and the unit.
Stacey is lovely to work with, she is always keen to teach the juniors, supporting them with ward based work and when attending deliveries. She keeps the senior medical team on track and provides excellent support with management of the SCU babies. It is always reassuring to see Stacey’s name on the rota, she is fantastic with the babies and their families, she is kind, knowledgably and compassionate. Every SCBU team should have a Stacey (but they are not allowed to steal ours!)
