Katie is a wonderfully calm and conscientious doctor excellent at her job. Her approach to communication with both family and staff members is exemplary; in emergency situations she is always calm and clear when summarising or delivering instructions, defining roles and identifying the plan of care. She is a hugely reassuring presence and always works collaboratively with members of the nursing and medical team. A real pleasure to work with.

Probably the calmest senior trainee that I have ever worked with. Incredibly capable. Supportive. Superb role model for junior colleagues. Pretty much a consultant disguised as a registrar!

Katie continues to be a dedicated team member, always willing to help newer colleagues with her great teaching and wealth of knowledge.
