What a pleasure to have Alicia back at RCHT as a senior doctor in training. She radiates competence, capability and confidence and I really trust her clinical judgement and value her help with clinical decision-making and experience in tertiary neonatology. Definitely a safe pair of hands, I am always pleased to see I am working with her and I know others in the consultant body and nursing teams feel the same. Alicia communicates with warmth and respect for others and embodies many of the essential qualities of a good paediatrician – flexible communication skills with a wide range of people, emotional resilience, a calm temperament and ability to work under pressure, excellent team-working and the makings of a good leader and, of course, all under-pinned by robust problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
