Dr Paul Jugurnauth

Nominated for Paediatric Junior Hero (ST1-4s, FTs, GPST and Trust SHOs)

Has been working at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – NORTHERN

Paul is fantastic! His clinical skills and assessment of a child are great… Not only this, his interaction with the children, young people and their families is also great! He has fitted into the team well, nothing is too much trouble for him – if he is asked to do a task it will be completed to a high standard in a timely manner. Since being on the ward he has even volunteered several times to be in a SIM!

Paul is a GP trainee currently on a six week paediatric rotation. He is an excellent junior doctor who is a very skilled doctor. He is a strong team player and supports all members of the team. Particularly offering to take on tasks from others when he can see they are struggling. He had a great working relationship with all members of the MDT. Paul is a great communicator and is trusted and respected by patients and their families. He will be a great GP but we will be sorry to see him move on from paediatrics.

Great Gp trainee. Interested, hard working and fantastic to have as part of the team.
