Emma is an absolute delight to work with. She is always available to give advice and provide support. She has a laugh that lights up the ward and has excellent rapport with parents and patients. She always prioritises patient care and is a true advocate for her patients.

Emma shows outstanding teamwork, communication skills and dedication to the Paediatric department in Barnstaple. Emma is always willing to listen to any concerns raised by not only nurses but TNAs, HCAs and Play Specialists be this about patients, families or ward pressures. And ensures that everyone receives the same level of attention no matter their band. Emma makes time to listen to patients and their families, this is particularly demonstrated with CAMHS patients who she engages with magnificently. Emma goes above and beyond to care for paediatric patients across the trust.
