Sarah does a truly magnificent job as rota co-ordinator in Exeter. She goes well above and beyond to make sure trainees are notified of their rota’s in good time, study leave and annual leave are facilitated and that inductions are organised. the rota is so complex now and Sarah has an amazing ability to make sure that trainees are well informed, updated and that the rota’s are complete. An amazingly hard worker – often working flexibly to get the job done.
She is super efficient and does it with a smile on her face at all times. She seems to love every minute of every day and has a constant stream of trainees coming to visit her to discuss ways of helping the rota but also to accommodate requests that they might have for study and annual leave. She has a great relationship with all trainees and also agencies, with whom she is in constant negotiation in order to secure shifts.
Sarah has the job none of us want but we all have an opinion on how it should be run. She maintains both calm and professional whilst dealing with a chronically understaffed and demanding rota.
