“Having only know Rachel for a short amount of time I am already amazed at how good a trainee Rachel is. Not only is she re-organising the neonatal unit with her QI projects, which includes procedural forms and ward round prompt sheets, but it is her compassion and empathy towards parents and the babies which makes her outstanding. She stays late after her shifts talking to parents and offering them encouragement and support. Specifically in a recent case where she recognised the parents were in need of support and she stayed after a night shift to be there for them.

Rachel is also incredible at supporting medical and nursing colleagues. She manages to get everything done and then do more. Always hard working and committed. Excellent communication.”
