“Jo is a valuable member of the team and exhibits exceptional teamwork in her employment at Bramble. She also fosters positive relationships with her co-workers. Jo develops incredible relationships with the patients, and families that we regularly encounter on Bramble. Jo exemplifies the trust’s better together principles. She demonstrates compassion in her profession by providing the highest level of care to everyone under her supervision as well as to her peers. Jo is skilled at diagnosing emergencies and knows when and how to escalate them. She is able to administer the proper care in these circumstances and exhibits incredible time management. Last but not least, Jo is a pleasure to work with because she never has an issue.

Jo is a brilliantly supportive person to work with. She will go out of her way to support team members when they are struggling. She also is an extremely competent junior and is already able to make decisions and create sensible plans that mean the senior doctors are able to rely on her to work independently. I have observed Jo talking with families and she is able to communicate with patients and families in such a way that they come away feeling listened to and understanding of what the next steps are. Fab all round doctor to work with.

Jo is a great doctor. She is knowledgeable, conscientious and thorough. Her clinical skills are exceptional and her instincts are on point. Jo is one of those SHOs that you breath a sigh of relief when you see they are on shift with you, because things are just going to go more smoothly! I don’t think she believes these things about herself, but she should – she’s an absolute joy to work with and is going to make a big difference to a lot of children’s lives in her career.

Jo is very energetic and enthusiastic. Helpful to the ones that are junior to her. Very fun to work with. Knowledgable but not arrogant. Cares for patients extremely well.”
