Nominated for Paediatric Junior Hero (ST1-3s, FTs & GPSTs)
“Kim was always a pleasure to work with, she worked hard as part of the team and on many occasions provided ad hoc teaching and training to colleagues. She interacts brilliantly with both patients and their families and they always had good feedback.
Kim has been very accommodating with learning and development, especially with myself in a training role. She takes the time to explain and educate in detail and can always make time to support her peers. She has the ability to adjust and adapt her communication skills to meet the needs of not only her colleagues, but the patients and families in her care. I remember a particular patient that attended with an eating disorder, Kim didn’t rush the patient to talk. She built up the therapeutic relationship first and managed to get the patient to engage. This was lovely to observe, especially from a trainee position. It is very clear that Kim really enjoys what she does!”
