The Paediatric Diabetes team in Exeter is truly amazing. They continually strive to improve the lives of children and young people with diabetes and support each other in doing so. Families are extremely well supported from diagnosis all the way through to transition. The team support the ward with training and education and contribute to the understanding and training of junior doctors. The team are committed to change and work as one unit for the benefit of the children, young people and their families. A fabulous example of an effective team.
