Alan is always a happy and positive presence on the ward. He is confident in his knowledge which is reassuring for staff and families alike. Alan is very supportive of more junior members of the team, he has natural talents in teaching. Alan is always open to views from the wider MDT, valuing each perspective and taking this into consideration when making treatment plans. Alan has outstanding communication skills both with families and staff meaning that everyone is on the same page.
