“Anna is an exemplary nurse.
She is paramount in delivering the high quality of care in the Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis (CF) services here in Cornwall.
Due to challenges in staffing recently within the respiratory team, Anna has been mostly running the service on her own and has done so efficiently and effectively. Examples include organising and ensuring the new CF triple therapy is prescribed and rolled out to patients who need it most in record time.
She always has time to discuss patients, she is efficient with tasks that need to be done and patients love her.
She goes the extra mile and always puts the patients first. I have seen her dedicate her own time coming in to comfort and console the family of one of our long term patients at the end of life earlier this year.
She is a vital member of our multidisciplinary team and she is enthusiastic in working together for the benefit of our patients..
