“Always goes out of her way to help others, always smiling and will ensure she does anything you ask of her asap. Julie is a constant ray of sunshine! No job is too big or too small. She goes beyond her job description to be helpful and brightens everyone’s day.

Julie is a fantastic front of house ward clerk for Plymouth NICU. She has a wonderful manner with both families and staff alike. She is very organised, reliable and motivated. There is nothing she would not try to do to help someone who needs it. She supports and empowers other staff to enable them to reach their full potential. Thank you very much, Julie for all your hard work.

Julie is incredible. She is always bright and cheerful and this spreads to the rest of the team. She has taken the time to learn everybody’s name and always personally greets you when arriving for shifts. She also takes the time to learn about each member of the team (and we are a big team!) and recognises when we may look tired or stressed and offers her help, in whatever way she can. She is always happy to help you and doesn’t just go the extra mile, but the extra 100 miles, to assist others and this is reflected in the performance of the team and staff morale. She is excellent with parents and provides a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. At a time of great stress parents find Julies kind and helpful nature invaluable, and she makes their day that bit easier. A truly inspiring member of the team!

Julie is such a lovely ward clerk. She is always very friendly and communicate well with all members of the team and the families on the unit. Julie works hard and goes out of her way to help with any jobs that need doing. Super helpful, friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble, she goes above and beyond for both her colleagues and our parents on the unit.

Julie is the ‘front of house’ ward clerk on NICU and her sunny disposition puts parents at ease when they walk in to NICU to visit their baby. She manages the day to day support for the parents including arranging their accommodation, meal vouchers and parking and ensures she escalates concerns to the sister in charge if she see parents upset. Julie is also the data clerk for BADGER and her tenacity and attention to detail has seen UHP data collection improve thus supporting us to achieve NNAP targets. Always keen to help, accommodating and available. A pleasure to work with and an essential team member. Thank you.

Julie always has a smile on her face and is warm and welcoming to staff and parents. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she does everything with a smile. Parents always comment on her bubbly nature and genuine desire to help people in whatever way she can.”
