Works at Torbay & South Devon NHS Foundation Trust

“Jaclyn is the most amazing HCA! She creates an incredible rapport with patients and their families and is particularly fantastic when it comes to feeding support. She will go above and beyond for patients and their families and is always a pleasure to work with.

Jaclyn is an incredible member of the Louisa Cary team. She is an extremely supportive member of the team and passionate about providing the best care to children and their families. She not only demonstrates excellence within the Louisa Cary team but is also frequently called to help and support on SCBU which she does willingly at often a moment’s notice. Jaclyn is well known on the ward for the comedy value she adds to every shift whilst demonstrating unwavering professionalism. Her humour has got me and many others through many, many tough night shifts. Please don’t ever change Jaclyn you are amazing.

Jaclyn frequently goes above and beyond in the care for our families on Louisa Cary ward. She supports mothers on the ward who are struggling with breast-feeding and advocates for them to pursue this feeding method if necessary. I have had multiple patients’ parents approach me and express how much they appreciated Jaclyn’s kind-hearted nature and unwavering support. I believe she needs recognition for her dedication to her patients and their best interests. Jaclyn is a real asset to our team.

Thank you so much for your dedication to your job. You are fantastic! For little things that make the difference such as your bright and cheery hellos to asking how colleagues are if it’s been a tough shift with a hug if needed. Your love of your job is infectious, and the children adore you. From the little babies to bigger children you are great with them, so caring and kind. Thank you!!”
