She is extremely approachable and will listen to views of others while taking a sensible and knowledgeable approach to trust strategy. She has excellent understanding of the needs of departments as well as each individual member of staff. most of all she has always prioritised the needs of babies, children and their families, while overseeing the transformation of neonatal services over the years. She is a truly inspirational figure who is often out of the limelight when it comes to recognition of achievement”
